The Queen Anne Victorian at 210 Savannah Road in Lewes, DE has stood tall for over 100 years. Built in 1899, Captain W. “Diver” Johnston at the age of 52 collaborated with his business partner (William H. Virden) to build a beautiful new house for him and his wife, Isabella. Records indicate that he paid $400 for the entire lot, one of the most prominent sites in downtown Lewes.Over the next 100 years, the Victorian structure built in the style of Eastlake, an English architect, served as a home for many families, including longtime Lewes Mayor, Otis Smith.The team at Raas is proud to continue the story of the Queen Anne Victorian. Simple home cooking at its best… served in a casual, bistro-style dining room or on our outdoor, garden patio. A year-round local favorite, since 2009, offering home-made food, that’s always fresh. A lively mix of locals and tourists, gathering for dinner in the dining room, or drinks at the bar. Just a 10 minute walk from the ocean, on Rehoboth Avenue. We also have some free parking behind our restaurant and free parking (after 5pm) on the street behind our building. Late night bar entertainment includes: live music or Karaoke with a late night menu available after 9pm.     Enjoyed first evening of St Patrick's Day menu. Two couples that frequent Iron Hill often. Corned Beef Dinners were amazing, huge portions and very tender! Potato Croquettes were toasty, hot and wonderful with their horseradish cream! A great early evening and respite from the chilly wind today!

    Looking for a menu that is a little different ? Look no further. The modern , clean, minimalist style decor is a perfect place to enjoy creative cocktails and an upscale contemporary menu. Off season, Tuesday is Tapas night. Here ,you can try most of the menu items. If that is not your thing, they do have a full menu . Low key and a relaxed pace dining experience was had. The staff is outgoing, friendly and genuinely appear to enjoy working there. This was our second visit and we shall be returning. A truly hidden gem.

    The food was delicious and the service was great too. Definitely needed a reservation. Overall an excellent upgrade to the previous theme of the place. The only problem we had, as well as many other tables too, was that the afternoon/evening sun was so intense coming in the windows that it was hard to see and have a conversation. Some blinds on the windows would be a big help
