Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Mission Viejo / Rancho Santa Margarita

Great place for our business lunch, we normally come for dinner or happy hour but it was a perfect fit for lunch too. The paleo bowl with salmon was delicious - we both ended up having the same thing and agreed it was great, and very filling. The service was prompt but not too much which allowed us to have a great conversation. I'll be back!

It was our first time dining at Piccolino and we enjoyed it very much. They have a great menu with good variety. We each had pasta dishes which were both excellent. The restaurant has a very nice ambience and service was very good. We are looking forward to trying other entrees.

Decided to try a new place for my birthday. Over all the food was great with the exception of one dish. I ordered the salmon with the piccata sauce and vegetables. The salmon was extremely dry but the sauce made up for the dryness of the salmon. My kids had a pizza and pesto capellini which they enjoyed. I would go back but order something else besides the salmon. The noise level was a bit too loud for my liking. Perhaps it was the crowd that evening but it was a little difficult to hold a conversation with my kids without having to repeat myself.

Wonderful food, good service, a little slow with drinks (Water) but was very busy for a Sunday afternoon

We expected a long wait, since it was Valentine’s Day and very crowded, but we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to wait too long to be seated. The food was great (we shared a meal for two) and the service was outstanding. We didn’t catch the name of our server (the receipt says Sabrina) but she made this a fantastic dining experience. Super friendly and helpful. We are going to be repeat customers, for sure.—Dave C
