Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Murfreesboro

We had a party of 4, sat outside in the heated patio. Very comfortable and cozy. 2 of us got the shrimp and grits. Savory sauce, really good. My husband got the scallops. He enjoyed them, good flavor but there were only 3 scallops. Would go back.

This was our first time at Firebirds. Savannah was an amazing waitress. My daughter and I we celebrating a late Valentine's Day mother daughter brunch. We both chose items from the brunch menu. Shrimp and Grits were good, I expected a little more spice. My daughter had the crabcakes w/poched eggs and potatoes. They were really good but a little cold. We both had the strawberry/peach mimosas, which were outstanding!! We received a Valentine's Day card signed by all the servers, a nice touch! We will definitely go again, looking forward to trying other items from the menu.

Mockingbird is always a charming experience. Our most recent trip was on Valentines Day. The table had a live flame tea light and rose petals on it. My only complaint was that our server was taking care of a large table of older women that kept him busy and not as attentive to us as I would’ve liked. Appetizer didn’t come before the food but I didn’t dock the rating for that for reasons already stated. Food was excellent- we got Pasta La Vista, Tatchos, and Bulgogi Hanger Steak and they were all fantastic. The ambience is perfect - dimly lit and well decorated. We will be back.

I hate the policy of not being seated until the entire party arrives. We made a reservation, we would have liked to be seated and enjoying appetizers/cocktails as the rest of our party of 4 arrived. We enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and all the options of additional flavors, white peach is delicious! Two of us shared the breakfast tacos, this was more than enough food and the freshly chopped jalapeños added just enough heat. The other two shared a bacon, egg and cheese croissant, they both enjoyed their portions and also agreed it was a lot of food. We do feel the portions of food is a good value. Our server was attentive but did forget our beverage refills. We will definitely return for dinner soon.

Husband and I came here for their annual NYE party/bash. Value was amazing! We each got 4 drinks, 1 appetizer, champagne toast at midnight at some donut holes for less than $100 a piece. The only downside is how busy it was to how many bartenders there were. Not enough to keep up with the crowd. We waited sometimes 20-25 minutes for drinks so we started ordering the next when they finally made it to the table. We also noticed that the servers couldn’t keep up with bringing them to the tables. Overall we had a blast and would definitely be back!
