- AAlexGreater Boston •9 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy group of 4 had a reservation for a birthday dinner at 7:15. The hostess was very apologetic when they could not seat us right away as a previous table was not leaving. We ended up having to wait for our table for 35 minutes. In the mean time we got a drink at the bar. Everyone from the hostess to the wait staff to the sommelier was very apologetic but we didn't mind. Everyone more than made up for our wait with complementary appetizer and a drink. Our birthday celebration was great and all of the food and drink was phenomenal. The sommelier Scott spent extra time with us when we had questions about the wine and was very kind and informative! We will be returning soon!More infoLedger Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Salem•4.7

From the time we arrived and walked into the awesome ambiance to our server Edward (who provided great service with a smile) to the waitresses that brought out our decadent and delicious food! Like EVERYTHING was so tasty! The drinks were not only beautiful, but super delish! Thank you for the experience! We will be back!More infoButtermilk & BourbonPrice: Moderate• Southern• Back Bay•4.5
- RRichardVIPGreater Boston •37 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024Library dining I warm and quite intimate McKenzie our server took care of all diners here. Her timing on gliding from table to table is stupendous. The food expeditor took all the pressure off her. Bread bowl clam chowder a creamy filled with clams. Served hot. A garden salad was more than sufficient to serve two of us. Seafood casserole and Southwest Chicken entrees perfectly prepared. A team of personnel from greeting to leaving is well done.More infoBradford TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Rowley•4.6
- PPhilGreater Boston •27 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 3, 2024Went to dinner with son for his b-day. We sat at the oyster bar. Started with a perfectly shucked sampler tray of the day’s oysters the tray had 2 oysters of each variety, 16 in all. They arrived quickly and were sublime. Served cold, clean and full of brine. Each variety distinct in flavor and plumpness. A couple of signature cocktails got our night off to a great start. We moved onto the hamachi crudo, sophisticated, with a nice combination of flavors that accented the fish including citrus and caviar invited to the party. A couple more cocktails ( different than the first 2) helped us round second base. A great plate of octopus with potatoes and an underlying smear of romesco style sauce was a nice warm dish with a great tension between tender octopus and potatoes prepared brava style. A refreshing beet salad with minted yogurt was a nice finish to the main event. We split an excellent slice of basque cheese cake for dessert. The service was great, efficient , friendly and no rush. I have been here several times over the last three years, never disappointed. Highly recommendMore infoThe Hourly Oyster HousePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Cambridge•4.7
