Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in University City

Last night, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining here, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The food, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. As part of a 12-day culinary tour of St. Louis's finest upscale restaurants, we have been impressed by this establishment's exceptional offerings. Valentines Day lunch for two. Food was excellent and the service (Spiro - our culinary guide) was exceptional. We had Calamari for an appetizer Then, we each had a salad…one lobster and the other tenderloin. Dessert - was cheesecake. We made future reservation for dinner before we left. Very happy.

Overall, view was great. Food was good. Service was subpar. Definitely over priced for what it is, but cool place for a little happy hour.

Teddy Bear Tea We have enjoyed this event annually for many years. The savory portion and the tea options were average at best. The dessert portion was excellent. It is way overpriced but still a neat event. Honestly though we will likely skip the tea in future years and just do happy hour at the sushi bar instead. The Tea price is close to the price of afternoon tea at the Plaza in NYC but does not hold a candle to the Plaza’s tea.
