Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Upcountry

LOVE the food. LOVE the staff… so much so that we are cancelling our plans for the following night and will be coming back here. Met some friends for life and had a fantastic dinner + drinks.

D.J. was OUTSTANDING in his Customer Service ‼️So accommodating and kind. Very knowledgeable about the menu and what is offered. We will be back because of his aloha spirit and sweet attitude towards us Tutu’s❣️Also, Shea is terrific too‼️ PLEASE go back to offering the Squash Ravioli the new one is not at all flavorful and doesn’t NOT compare and the Pot Stickers are okay but not as good as the ones before. The Deviled Eggs, New Shrimp 🍤 Appetizer, Fish n Chips, Lamb, etc…are wonderful! If you could make a Day After Pork Belly Ramen as you do at your other Merriman Restaurant that would be great‼️ Mahalo Nui Loa for an enjoyable mealtime and beautiful music 🎶. Suszi🌺

Amazing experience! Excellent service. The waitstaff are all so kind and helpful. They gave us a notice that they were very busy, which was nice to give us a heads up. We thought food and drinks came out at a reasonable pace. It was windy for lunch service so we went under their private event area. Management and multiple team members checked in on us. We had a great time! The Wild Mushroom Farmbread and the Burger was a table favorite. My partner loved their Kula Tai, I had a Flight 4051 with their FY gin and it was so delicious. Will be returning!

The hula Grill was a beautiful tropical setting for dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed the view and the food was excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed the free hula pie, since we were staying at the Westin. We then wandered over to the bar and enjoyed the rest of the sunset there. Highly recommend. !

From the moment we stepped into Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa, we were blown away by the ambiance, service, and, most importantly, the food! Every dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Even our two young children (3 and 6) loved their Starburst drinks and teriyaki steaks. A special shoutout to our server, Bryan, who truly elevated our evening. His knowledge of the menu, attentive service, and friendly demeanor made us feel so well taken care of. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.
