- DDaphneSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoHad our annual neighborhood anniversary dinner here; and were not disappointed! I had the grilled Kampachi with Asian chimichurri with grilled Brussels Sprouts and Broccolini, and he had the spicy Alaskan cod fish tacos, and our kid had the trio of ceviche and spicy ahi tuna poke appetizer samplers. Everything was tasty and excellent! Especially our kids' order and mine! Then, our server, a nice lady named Sonam kindly brought us a dessert menu where we chose the pineapple upside down cake and she recommended the coconut ice cream to go with it; and it was absolutely wonderful; we felt transported to Hawaii! The restaurant treated us to one dessert on our anniversary; which was so kind! We left a nice tip also! Decor was nicely upscale tropical for our anniversary too; and background music was pleasant and not too loud for a conversation. TVs were on to watch the all-star B-Ball. A perfect evening with the family!More infoPacific Catch San MateoPrice: Moderate• Seafood• San Mateo•4.8
- SStephanSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoJJ the person who takes orders and periodically checks in for any needs is one of the best assets of this establishment. My friend absolutely loved the Valentine’s Day experience that I hoped would have been the result when selecting this restaurant. I am not exactly carnivorous and would have preferred that I ordered what I did minus the meat however that is my issue as I was not feeling meat at the moment however my friend ordered the same and was happy to take mine home( minus the veggies and mashed potatoes which were perfectly cooked. Highly recommended and sit at a table where you will meet JJ. He made everything better than it would have been otherwise.More infoBistro MittePrice: Moderate• German• San Carlos•4.5

- CCourtney and MikeVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •30 reviews5.0Dined on Jan 27, 2025This was an unexpected "wow"! Very casual, clean and modern inside. Great service and easy to figure out how to grill etc. The shrimp was spicy and fabulous, I highly recommend the cabbage salad which had the best flavor.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - San Mateo, CA | Downtown (Central Park)Price: Expensive• Japanese• San Mateo•4.8
