- TTeriCalifornia Central Coast •4 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoBaja Cantina is the best Mexican restaurant in the area! If the weather is fine, we love sitting outside in the fresh air. We usually order a Cadillac margaritas, so good! The chips are real—-not the strange cardboard ones that many other restaurants serve. A nice spice mix on them and super crunch make them irresistible! The salsa is spicy and not too hot. All the food we’ve tried has been delicious! We’ve always found the wait staff to be friendly and they do hustle your food out quickly. I’d recommend getting a reservation, especially on Saturday afternoon, where the large patio can be packed!More infoBaja Cantina - CarmelPrice: Moderate• Mexican / Southwestern• Carmel Valley•4.5
- JJonVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •36 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 15, 2024Dined with a party of 10 that included 2 children under 4. The parents were concerned about whether the restaurant would be kid-friendly. It was VERY kid friendly. And we all had a delightful experience. The staff were so kind and accommodating. Owner even stopped by several times to check on us. The food was excellent and a great value for Carmel. Chicken marsala was up with the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back!More infoVillage Corner California BistroPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Carmel•4.7
- XXinBaltimore / Maryland •5 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 1, 2024Great food, cute location, friendly server! Also had live music- a bonus since it was unplanned-for. Since we had a group of 4, we went for the "small" island basket, which was 3 entrees and 2 appetizers on a giant woven basket / platter. Very special experience (and SO much food :-) Only downside was that we'd originally made lunch reservations but the restaurant was clearly not open when we showed up (on time for the reservation itself; half an hour after the restaurant's opening time for the day). Ended up going in for dinner instead (hence the "unplanned" part of the live music). Would highly recommend, aside from the owner's opening-up glitch.More infoEdwin's Kaona CarmelPrice: Moderate• Asian• Carmel•4.2
