- TtoddVIPOrange County •9 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe got there early on Valentine's weekend to avoid drama. Was our first experience at G & G. We started with Calamari and Steak Tar Tar... Both perfect in texture and flavor. I shared Prime Rib with Wife and Daughter got Spaghetti Bolognese .. The pasta was Al Dente and meat sauce rich and amazing. Prime Rib was disappointing.. They Split cut for wife and myself ..There was over 50% fat in cuts... was difficult to navigate with knife anywhere and slice Ribeye.. We might have had that area that the fat strap ran and not mad as it happens with Beef. The only other anomaly was The Italian greeter/ manager went around and checked on tables around us.. Never came by and acknowledged our table.. it was 5:30 and not super busy..Nor did server ask us after entrees served come Back... I miss those days when spending $300 plus for two adults and one child.. Would create a value for establishment... I believe this was 7 out of 10... but small tweaks would make it 9 out of 10.More infoGene and GeorgettiPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.7
- QQuinnVIPGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a lovely experience on Valentines Day. the food was excellent and our server was outstanding - she was incredible attentive and did a wonderful job throughout the night. She was also amazing with my food allergies - she personally went to the kitchen and double checked that everything we ordered was free of my allergens and continually reassured me throughout the night that everything was free from them. This was particularly meaningful to us because just the night before I had an incident in another restaurant that caused a severe reaction, so both my boyfriend and i had been nervous about dining out again so soon after but didn't want to give up this reservation we had been looking forward to for a month. Our server made our night - that's the type of service that's sets restaurants apart. It would have been nice if one drink had been included in the set Valentines menu price since it was $150, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. Highly, highly recommend Grill on 21 and we will definitely be back!More infoGrill on 21Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• River North (Chicago)•4.5

My boyfriend and I got served by the bartender who was a lovely lady. Asked if we wanted to try the wine before pouring the glass. Thankfully so because my boyfriend ended up wanting to try the Italian Punch drink instead with me! Which was 10/10. As for food we ordered the Fettucini Al Burro which came served in the cheese wheel. Kind of disappointed our server didn’t come out to serve it as we liked her personality. The man who did it wasn’t very talkative…..if it all. Which is okay I just thought seeing things online it would’ve been different. As for the food quality the pasta was a good fresh dough. Al dente to perfection. The sauce was salty and cheesy. Very yummy. I didn’t taste much of truffle butter but it was still good. The pasta was however a bit cold which was disappointing. The overall bill was pretty cheap for 2 cocktails & a pasta dish that’s served out of a parmesan wheel!More infoLa Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly ChicagoPrice: Moderate• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.3
