Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Gilbert

Booked a last minute reservation here and had a wonderful time. Food was served very quickly, the brisket and ribs were both extremely tender and very flavorful. Steak was delicious as well and a good size- loved the onion topping, cornbread and shrimp appetizer was just as good. Ambience was nice, dining room wasn’t too loud and our server was very quick and attentive. Pricey but definitely worth it, Bobby Q’s just might be our new date night spot.

The only very small issue with our visit to Buca in Mesa was at check-in. We arrived 5 min early for our reservation but there was no one at the Host station and there were several people in the lobby, some already checked in and some not. It was about 10 min before a hostess appeared, obviously she was busy in the restaurant. We checked in and it was another 15 min before we were seated although when seated it wasn’t busy so not sure about the delay. After that it was great. Our server was helpful with selections and very patient and pleasant. Food arrived in a timely manner and everything was very good. We had a group of 8 so tried 4 different items and shared and everyone in our group enjoyed all the choices. We all thought the cost was very good as well with food, wine and tip coming in at $85/couple, quite reasonable for an evening out these days. I had been before but others hadn’t although everyone commented they would return.

Our Server, Jeramie was very friendly and attentive. Our entrees were fresh and delicious.

Good food & service with friends before the concert at the Hale Theater

I had dinner with my two toddlers. Enjoyed the scenery right next to Mesa-Gateway airport. We saw several planes land and take off and there was an Air Force cargo plane parked right near the restaurant. The kids ate all their food (not surprising) - Mac N Cheese and fries, and I had the barrio quesadilla (shredded chicken). The meals were good and tasty. No complaints. there It was a little louder than expected, but it was also "Trivia" night, though it was not obnoxiously loud. The volume was tolerable and didn't diminish the experience with my kids. Overall, worth going back to again. It's a good place for food fun with family and friends. Most of the tables inside and outside were occupied, but not overly busy. Will be going back soon.
