Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Lake Bluff

We went on Thanksgiving. Our server was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious and plentiful. We brought home lots of leftovers! We were not rushed at all. The courses were brought out in a timely manner. The prices were a little on the high side but the quality and amount made it well worth it. We'll definitely go back!

Met two friends for an early dinner. Service was outstanding- especially since we lingered while catching up. We all commented on the great experience we had.

Great decor and a fun experience for people and kids alike! The animatronics move every few minutes and there’s a giant tank arch you walk under. It is loud since they mimic a tropical thunderstorm and the animatronics make noise, so if your plan is a quiet dinner- this is not the place. But if you love to bask in wonderful atmosphere and heavily themed spots, you’ll enjoy. Rainforest Cafe is a delightful concept with yummy food. My personal favorite is surprisingly the Korean Fried Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Delightful gochujang and sweet and sour sauce over perfectly lightly breaded chicken with nuts. We followed it up with one of our favorites Pastalaya which is a buttery cajun delight with a kick! A volcanooooooo is a must for a rainforest cafe (though I am VERY tempted by their limited time Tsunami Cake and have plans to go back to get it). All in all, definitely worth a try at least once!

The big pretzel was amazing, pizza was good, drinks were flowing. Music was .. loud .. and present .. but overall we had a really good night out with the kids. Wasn't particularly cheap, so maybe not soon, but would definitely do again!
