- KKarenVIPDenver / Colorado •22 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI’ve been to Summer House a number of times and have always had very good experiences, however I was recently diagnosed with Celiac, so I wanted to leave a review saying how impressed I was. According to the menu, most items can be made gluten free. I went with another person who was gluten free and the dinner was outstanding. Our server was great (as usual) and was very knowledgeable. It was very busy but didn’t feel crowded. The miso salmon was delicious and the Brussels sprouts salad is a favorite of mine. So unique and tasty. Normally I don’t get dessert but decided to try the gluten free chocolate chip cookie because their cookies are so good. This one did not disappoint! Soft, satisfying and hit the spot! I was curious about the “mini” espresso martini and thought, why not? It was the perfect after dinner drink! Overall, another great experience at the Summer House. I’ll be back!More infoSummer House - ChicagoPrice: Moderate• American• Lincoln Park•4.6
- EEllenChicago / Illinois •2 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoAs soon as we arrived the hostess made a point to tell us there was a 2 hour limit to the table and if we weren’t finished and they needed the table we would have to move . This was news to us as open table makes No mention of this at all. Apparently guiesss management is addressing this with open table. Also if you’ve already gone to the Guinness brewery in Dublin please be aware this is nothing like that. The beef stew served with au jus broth instead of a hearty beef gravy as usual. Salads and burgers were good. Fried cheese curds amazing ! Service was outstandingMore infoGuinness Open Gate Brewery - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Brewery• West Loop•4.5

The drinks, the food, the look and feel of it, but the number one reason we keep coming back is the people who work at RL. It was a wildly busy evening this last time we came in and while many would have folded, the team went out of their way to take care of us. And that’s what sets this place apart. You’re cared for here. We were listened to and made comfortable. It ended up being a wonderful evening all thanks to obviously the food and drink, but mainly each employee we came in contact with. Come for the lush martinis, the perfect dover sole, the rich wood and dim lights but keep coming back for the people.More infoRL RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.9
