Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in North York / Don Mills

We came back to Good Son because our first time there was amazing and it’s safe to say the second time is just as incredible—maybe even better! We had the short ribs and the spicy rosé rigatoni this time, along with the steak tartare, the grilled shrimp lettuce cups and the tuna carpaccio and all of them were out of this world. The flavors were rich, bold, and just downright delicious!! The service, as always, was impeccable. Josh took such great care of us, and Jo, the manager, as always made sure everything was perfect, she is the sweetest and most attentive manager I have met! It’s clear this team genuinely cares about creating a great experience. Oh, and the drinks? Absolutely divine—seriously, some of the best cocktails around. Good Son has become a favorite, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

They were a little disorganized at the hostess desk and it took awhile to be seated despite having a reservation since there was a long walk-in queue

Our service was AMAZING! I wish I remembered our server’s name but she had the greatest energy and was always smiling. The food was also great but our server set the tone and was so attentive through our entire meal. Wonderful experience all around.

First time trying Filipino food and I'll definitely come back!! Love the garlic rice sooo much and all the grilled meat & seafood. The experience of having them setup the dishes on top of banana leaves on the table is so unique and fascinating.

This place was completely booked on Friday night, so make sure you have your reservation. This looks like a family place with amazing pizzas and nice drinks. We've also tried their beets and goat cheese salad, and this is our new favorite. Pleasant staff, overall relaxing vibe. This place is where I'd like to return again and again. Pricewise it was really good value. Totally recommended.
