Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Shearer Hills - Ridgeview

I hope this is seen by the right people over at Haywire, because me and my wife had the absolute best dinner over at Haywire at La Cantera Friday night. Our server Kim was excellent. Very attentive, gave amazing recommendations and the cherry on top was the food. Everything tasted great, super fresh. Drinks were on point. This location of La Cantera mall has turned a corner and we will continue to be guests over at Haywire!

Fantastic food as always, and our server was fantastic! We enjoyed happy hour at the bar before dinner and each enjoyed a drink. Mama’s and all Cappy Lawton restaurants are FANTASTIC!

Starting with drinks at the bar, which by the way has an outstanding selection to include all BTAC & Van Winkle bourbons. The dinner began with a variety of amazing appetizers like the Navajo fried bread and chorizo deviled eggs. Our sever Daniel provided great recommendations to the group, we all tried a different dish and no one was disappointed by their selections. Daniel’s attention to detail and outstanding service made this one of the best group dinner experiences we’ve had this year.

Not sure of the bartender couldn’t hear because of the noise but gave me the wrong beer I asked for, then my second round I had ordered I had asked for salt around the rim they had only put a tiny bit of salt on one section of the glass which I had never seen before. We ordered their nacho appetizer and I wasn’t impressed it doesn’t really have a whole lot on top so you feel like eating plain tortilla chips mainly. We also got the $20 dollar burger and again was not impressed, I personally wouldn’t buy this again.

We had a super fun team gathering…staff was super friendly and very accommodating! Can’t wait to meet up again at this venue soon!
