Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in West End

We had a great meal. Our server, Alexandra, was terrific - very pleasant and efficient. It was a busy Saturday night, but we had no delays in ordering and our food came promptly and exactly as we had ordered it. Salad was fresh and crisp with tender grilled chicken, pasta dishes were tasty, pizza was good. Dessert (a kind of rich chocolate mousse was a special treat. Will definitely come again.

We were in Boston for our grandson’s participation in the Foot Locker Northeast Regional XC Champions’ Race in Roxbury the next day. I chose Artu from a list of “top restaurants in Boston” on Google. We were not disappointed. Our waiter was a delight, warm, friendly, well informed; our food was delicious, one of the best Lemoncello Martinis ever; and the ambience was just what you’d hope to find in the North End. We will definitely make a point to return to Artu on our next visit.

Excellent food and experience. Honestly, the fresh pasta and marinara was basically heaven all by itself. The only meh item was the fried cheese app, which came luke warmish, as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Would not order again. Would reorder everything else: house salad, chicken something or other with olives, anchovies, artichokes, asparagus, and sun dried tomatoes; came with a house salad. Nommy bread, good wine list, perfectly reasonable prices, esp considering portions.

Our server (sorry can’t remember her name) was very nice and was clearly very knowledgeable about the menu. I am coeliac and require gluten free food and the Mac and cheese was absolutely delicious. They even had gluten free beer which was an added bonus. My wife also really enjoyed her black and blue burger. Well worth a visit and we’ll hopefully return the next time we’re in Boston
