Our Autumn Salmon Salad was delicious with perfectly cooked salmon, roasted cauliflower and butternut squash, poached apples, pomegranate seeds and pepitas. Every bite had so many flavors! As a bonus, we dined during happy hour so our glasses of wine from the tap were so reasonable! Service was just right! We will dine again soon!More infoBack Burner RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.5

The atmosphere as soon as you walk in the restaurant is very welcoming. The bar specialty drinks (Perfect Pear Martini👍) was a great start to an awesome dinner! One of the night’s specialty entree’s was Venison and the flavor was the best. I encourage to choose from the starter, entree, and dessert as you won’t be disappointed. Lastly, everyone on the staff was friendly and professional which completed the experience!More infoThe House of William & MerryPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Hockessin•4.9

- EElizabethPhiladelphia County •5 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024I enjoyed this restaurant more at dinner time than lunch as the atmosphere is much livelier in the evening. I had the blackened salmon salad and the mushroom soup, and both were delicious. My friend had the steak salad, and it looked as though the salad consisted of only lettuce. It would have been nice to have bread with the soup. The service was timely.More infoRedfire Grill SteakhousePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hockessin•4.6
