You cannot beat the ambiance and the service was great as well. The heart-shaped chocolate cake with a rose is a must if you are on a date. The way the restaurant is setup and decorated is very clever and appealing. There are four different settings you can be seated in and they are all pleasantly different. What I am saying is that you should eat there at least four times... :o)

My family loves Il Fornaio for the ambience and food choices. We have been to LA, Irvine and San Diego places. Today’s pasta was a bit over cooked (Christmas Day), but my daughter’s salmon was perfectly cooked and so was the pizza, otherwise everything’s great, including the calamari and prosciutto appetizers.

I absolutely LOVED the food! This is one of those establishments that, “you pay what you get.” Reasonable prices, great food, ambience & service. #definitelyrecommend

We enjoyed every aspect of our experience at The Ivy. The owner was actually there when we were and she was spectacular! The staff was very kind and helpful. The food is worth every cent and incredibly fresh. The freshcolorful flowers, custom pottery, art and atmosphere are such a staple in Los Angeles and truly one not to miss! You can tell the love put into the space and that exists with the staff.
