- JJeremyLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days ago5 stars across the board. First time visit to Catalu, and we will definitely be back. This place has checks all the boxes of a fine dining restaurant without the pretentiousness that is often part of the fine dining experience. The tapas was spectacular and paella was even more delicious. Our waitress (Angie?) was affable and knew the menu backwards and forwards, although it was her first week of employment at the restaurant. Very pleasant, indeed. We look forward to booking at Catalu again very soon.More infoCatalúPrice: Moderate• Tapas / Small Plates• Charlotte•4.5

The food portions were great and it helped that we had an awesome server by the name of Jerimiah. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great suggestions. We also enjoyed his signature drink! We will definitely be back once the weather gets better so we can enjoy the outside water view! Much success to this establishment:)More infoDrift on Lake WyliePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Belmont•4.7
- HHalee-CatherineNashville •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFor Valentines, I wanted to do something outside of our usual routine. I had heard of Barristers and was like yep let’s drive to Gastonia! When we first walked into the hotel section, it seemed a little seedy(we saw some interesting folks walking into the hotel) but when walking into the actual restaurant the ambiance was incredible. Alyssa our server was extremely attentive to my multiple food allergies, and made great recommendations based on that, and I ordered items I might not have otherwise. The baked Brie was SO SO GOOD, and my boyfriend loved his swordfish. He is a little picky when it comes to restaurants and said he would actually want to drive all the way out there and come back. That is a really high vote from him! Would love to come back when it’s warmer and not raining, as it looked like they had a really pretty back deck area as well.More infoBarrister's at The Esquire HotelPrice: Moderate• American• Gastonia•4.7
- AAmyVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •21 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe loved our experience at State of Confusion. If you are a fan of New Orleans cuisine, then it would be right up your alley. We shared the Gator Gumbo as an app and it’s a huge bowl with a thick rich base. It was delicious. Then I had the Muffaletta with confusion potatoes and my husband had the Bologna sandwich with red beans and rice. The muffaletta was huge and I had to take half home. It was really good. My husband thought mine was good too but thought his bologna sandwich was just ok. He said it reminded him of a sandwich you would get at Arby’s the way they thin sliced the meat. We both agreed we will definitely be back but he would try something else. Our server was really nice and attentive and it seemed like everyone was pitching in to help on a busy night. I loved the atmosphere - it was lively but not too loud. All in all, great experience!More infoState of Confusion- CharlottePrice: Moderate• American• South Charlotte•4.5
