Best Lunch Restaurants in Halensee

Excellent food. Above average price but the quality of food is top-notch!

Food was really good. I love octopus and my wife enjoyed the gambas. Service was attentive, ambience was casual and great. Just became a bit loud when tables were filled. Only odd part was we were reminded that there was a 2 hr limit, and were given 7 minutes to settle. We were not allowed to order our desserts or even complete the meal with dessert takeout of the chocolate cubes. The tables with 2 and 4 guests who had later reservations, actually received their entrees ahead of us, yet we were rushed. We were a party of 3 only, my wife and I ordered salads. My niece’s order was the tuna on risotto. Was it because we were behind the wall, unseen, or I asked for more bread? I’ll still return when I’m back in Berlin, hopefully in more relaxed conditions.

Amazing food! Great service! Only problem: the air in the restaurant. They have a problem with their fume cupboard system and the whole place smells of the food they cook, my eyes were burning… So I will be back in summer when I can sit outside :)

Top notch service with excellent food. Interesting and tasteful decor and quiet setting. Not necessarily a budget restaurant , but the prices were reasonable for the quality they provide. We would definitely recommend and dine here again.
