Best Lunch Restaurants in Clinton

This was our first visit to Wemmy's and we had a great time! The restaurant is tastefully, yet festively, appointed for the holidays. We did have a reservation and were seated moments after our arrival. Our waiter, Ben, was prompt in welcoming us and taking our drink order and very friendly and attentive to our needs throughout our meal. We had both the octopus (outstanding) and the whipped feta for appetizers. We had the scallops and the short rib for our entrees. Both dishes were nicely plated and very good. We finished our meal with the dessert special, bread pudding, which was a sweet ending to a delicious meal. I am most certain we will be back!

The Seafood pasta was excellent. My granddaughter said her Chicken PARMESAN was very good, brought 1/2 home and finished. We sat at bar having arrived and received excellent service.

Excellent pizza. We had the primo pepperoni—great crust, just crispy enough. Plennnty of good quality pepperoni on this pie. Flavorful sauce with the spicy honey is fantastic. Cocktails were excellent, also. I had the mezcal special and my gf had the This That and the Other and they were both perfect. Excellent and friendly staff, as well. Great experience.

Reliably good food and service. Busy place - an indication that people like it here. I often order the specials because they are outstanding.

OpenTable thinks we didn’t show up. But, Anika took great care of us. And she earned a generous tip for her hard work and positive attitude. I’d go back again, but not if OpenTable again sends me a disgusting e-mail that accuses us of being a no-show.
