- RRochelleLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoLove this restaurant. We were given a choice of tables when we arrived. Ordered a cocktail each and had to return mine as tasted like water.! My starter was lovely (scallops and pork belly) but felt the mussels tasted very strong . We were also told when we booked, we had 1.5 hours on the table but we were there for much longer and not rushed at all. Overall, I would say I preferred the lunchtime experience to the evening experience.More infoTom, Dick & Harry'sPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Loughton•4.2
- SSimoneLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Feb 9, 2025Wonderful Sunday lunch my daughter and I like to go for Sunday lunch twice a month and have been looking around for good Sunday lunch restaurants and I saw a recommendation for this little pub about a 30 min drive away and we went this Sunday and it was truly amazing we had an excellent choice of starters bbq pork belly bites, amazing and a yummy butternut squash soup both of which were lovely and really filling, only downside was then we couldn’t eat all of our sharing board as we were too full. The Sharing board was amazing, we have eaten a large variety of Sunday lunches over the last 6 months finding new places for each visit in both central London and Havering and the surrounding areas including well known restaurants such as Blacklock and Hawksmore and I have to say this is by far the best Sharing Board I have ever eaten all the trimmings and a really unctuous gravy, truly lovely traditional Sunday lunch with a real family vibe to the Pub. Well worth a visitMore infoThe Rabbits PubPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Abridge•4.5
- BBrendaEssex •6 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 25, 2025Hi I had a good time and would of given 5 star but because we had been out on table by the stairs toilets etc I had people pushing my chair and bashing into me constantly I did ask to be moved but was told as you can see we are fully booked and no alternative seating available This did spoil our evening and to be totally honest we left earlier than anticipated and we would of preferred to of spent our money elsewhereMore infoFunky MonkPrice: Expensive• British• Epping•4.2
- RRehenaLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 30, 2024Lovely venue, although in the middle of no where in my opinion. Service was good as we had early booking. Starters was delicious, the venison kebab, the quails egg I would have preferred it to be a bit runnier in the middle when you cut into it. The sauce was great and good amount just right for the amount. The mix grill was a disappointment due to the small portion size, there was not enough flavour to this dish. The prawn purée was nice, please serve in a flat plate as it will be easier to eat than the round bowl we had it served in. Ambience was nice. Mains were ok the meat dish was not spicy enough as per details on the menu, the dhansak was lovely, the peshwari naan was yummy. The duck dish would be better to be cooked to one’s tastebud, I would have preferred this a little less cooked. Dessert- we didn’t enjoy in the way it was described on the menu, however the cake for the birthday was nice along with the other complimentary little pot we had. A lovely evening full of lovely foodMore infoTanishq Restaurant & BarPrice: Expensive• Indian• Ongar•4.9
