Best Lunch Restaurants in Grand Case

There were four of us. We all got different items from the menu. All excellent. They have both seafood and non-seafood selections, however, the venue is such that the seafood was the choice of all. I had to Bouillabaisse which was unique and very tasty.  one key to your reservation, however, is the fact that they no longer accept OpenTable reservations, even though they are still on OpenTable. We had to beg our way into a table. Fortunately,we arrived very early before others had arrived. They said that they had taken their restaurant off of open table, however, you can still make a reservation today on the app. I would suggest calling the restaurant or communicating in some other manner if you want to go to this excellent restaurant. 

We have gone every year to Java since it opened, but this is not the same restaurant as last year and definitely not the same as when it opened. The service and ambiance is very good, but the food and menu has changed to being just normal. When Java opened it was a very unique restaurant in Grand Case offering an eating experience out of the norm. Now it is just normal with a limited menu that doesn't excite.

The ambiance was just perfect, not to noisy, no loud music and the service was on point no long wait etc. the food was also well prepared and delicious

First time here was >10 years ago and it was a novel, wonderful experience. First time back to sxm, this time with 3 kids in tow and wow, what a pleasure. Casual elegance, sophisticated without pretense. Perfect food, great wine selection (obviously), kind, friendly and professional service. Absolute gem of a restaurant.
