Come dine in this beautifully restored Uptown restaurant on Magazine Street and enjoy James Beard Award Winning Chef Justin Devillier's contemporary Louisiana Cuisine. The La Petite Grocery name pays homage to the history of its home, a building that’s stood for more than a century. The original structure was built in the late 1800s and called the Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. In 1908, a fire devastated the space and it was transformed into a full service grocery store. Later it was most notably a fine foods and butcher shop, VonderHaar’s Fine Foods until 1982. When La Petite Grocery opened in March of 2004, they similarly aspired to provide the neighborhood with exotic teas, locally roasted coffee, and fresh produce. By doing this, we hope to provide a dining experience that evokes nostalgia of old New Orleans. Reservations are preferred.

My wife and I are NOLA natives visiting after being gone for ten years. The food at Tableau was great and the atmosphere was beautiful (I’d worked in the building years ago and could barely recognize it by the new floor plan). Even my two kids (7 and 9) enjoyed their meals and the experience. Touring the building after the meal was worth the trip. Thank you to Sabrina and Kayla for the service, and to Ruby who took the time to guide us to the “secret room” where some celebrities have dined. Thank you, also, to Tanya who took our picture on the balcony overlooking Jackson Square. Those personal touches made the night really special. I’m glad we chose this place over the dozens of other offerings in New Orleans.

Such a lovely dinner at Antoine’s. Enjoyed sitting in the lovely large Annex room and viewing the Christmas tree. Excellent attentive service by Silas and TJ, my water glass never ran dry and I never had to pour my own wine. Silas gave me some great menu suggestions to help create a very nice dinner. I look forward to returning again soon.

Wonderful experience from the front door throughout! The ambiance was 5 Stars. We made reservations for Thanksgiving dinner (night) and were greeted and seated quickly. The waiter (Devon) and his partner were great in explaining options and key items, including taking note of allergies at the table. The food options were great and plentiful. We started with crab fingers and Pork Belly over cheese grits. Followed by the Turducken with cranberry sauce, sweet potato souffle, and oyster dressing. The second plate of Turducken came with spinach, crab mac, and cheese, which were all very tasty. We were full and had to take our desserts to go. The wait staff was pleasant, attentive, swift, and responsive. I really appreciated the level of service and quality. I highly recommend it and will return when I am back in town!

Lovely & tasty, as always. We had a super helpful young lady waiter. She was delightful. Food is always excellent. We went on the early side — 11:30 — so at first it was wonderfully quiet and even as things picked up & families came in with children, it was not too loud ever, just festive.
