The Bateman Arms was built c.1750 by Sir James Bateman (Lord Mayor Of London) as a building where his Estate workers would collect on pay day.     Just a nice relaxing atmosphere for lunch. Food wasn’t complicated but excellently presented and really tasty. Girls serving couldn’t be more helpful and polite. We love treating ourselves to a meal at Carriages or the Sidings, we will be back!

    Another lovely meal at The Batemans. A cold night but the pub was warm and welcoming. Menu has a good choice and a specials board too. Sausage and mash and Chicken and Ham pie were delicious.

    My husband and l always enjoy going to La Madeleine's restaurant. The service is prompt, friendly and attentative. The quality of the food and beverages is of excellent quality. It is easy to make a reservation by phone and online as well. This restaurant is situated in the heart of Hereford city. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and inviting and for better weather days, there is a lovely garden to the rear of the restaurant. La Madeleine's is ideal for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea. They have a tempting selection of cakes! I have no hesitation in recommending La Madeleine's restaurant.
