Best Lunch Restaurants in High Park

I’ve been to quite a few locations, I absolutely love the food at each one. This one in particular has excellent service from the minute you walk in. The food was excellent, extremely fresh as well. I also loved that our server/bartender since we sat at the bar didn’t try to push us to order excessively. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. I highly recommend the ceviche, Milo’s special, and of course the tomato salad, and any fish in the market to have baked with a salt crust.

As a single dad looking for a place to celebrate the 11th birthday of my only child, it was really perfect. The staff gave us a table with a view and dessert was on the house. We did the pre theatre dining experience and everything was amazing from start to finish. We were in a bit of a rush and they accommodated our requests and still had a great experience.

Everything was excellent! My party of 2 had a bar reservation for 845pm and we arrived a tad early but were graciously accommodated. The service at the bar was exceptional, our bartender took the time to learn what I liked to drink and recommended an awesome booze-forward Bev (Helter Skelter, loved it). She also took the time to make a thoughtful recommendation for our dinner— we ended up choosing a few salads (my chopped wedge was better than any wedge salad has a right to be) and the fries…my god, the fries. They are magic. Beyond that, the ambiance was perfect, playlist was the best, and the restaurant itself is just gorgeous (my dining partner and I were salivating over the gorgeous bar too — she says it’s onyx? I say a pretty marble? Whatever it was, whole vibe was perfect). Thanks for a great holiday meal experience!
