They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation.     We were warmly greeting as soon as we walked in the door for our 12:30 reservation and seated in a comfortable and roomy booth. Mark was our server today and he could not have been more accommodating to us, with a very genuine personality while making good recommendations from the menu. We had a great afternoon.

    This restaurant is great for a nice, romantic dinner. The ambiance was superb and our server was the best. Management stopped by our table a few times to be sure we had a pleasant experience. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend this restaurant to everyone we know! Easily 5 stars!

    Lamb chops perfectly cooked (6 of them) crab * corn soup delishes as always. Just needs again some more crab meat. Used to be more generous. Crem brulee was served at room temp. Glad it wasn't cold. Overall very nice dinner.
