It was our first time visiting and highly likely we will make the 30+ minutes drive over again soon.More infoThe Rum Fox Ltd.Price: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Clitheroe•4.8

The staff were professional and the chef was very accommodating in terms of meeting my dietary needs. Superb value for outstanding food. Beautiful scenery which will be even better on a sunny day. Can't wait to go back.More infoEight at Gazegill By Doug CramptonPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Howgill•4.9

- DDebbieLancashire •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLovely meal, friendly staff, and a lovely pub Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the staff were great, the only reason I marked Ambience down was because it was cold. It was a very chilly Febuary day and it would have been lovely to walk into a nice warm pub. We would love to go back and perhaps try the taster menu next time.More infoThe Freemasons at WiswellPrice: Expensive• British• Clitheroe•4.7

Fear not, when the food arrives you realise the quality of the food is on another level. Had a steak and ale pot pie and if its not the best pie I've ever eaten its definitely in the top 3. My Mother had the chicken supreme which was presented beautifully and apparently was excellent. The pub itself is lovely, lighting prefect, service exceptional. There was a fine dining event on later in the evening and was set up in the dining room which is also very tastefully done. With the masterchef winning chef in the kitchen I expected it to be good but it exceeded my expectations.More infoThe Black BullPrice: Moderate• British• Blackburn•4.6
