Best Lunch Restaurants in Newham

We were very excited to dine here due to the aesthetic looks. We were taken to the lounge area and we saw the seats had shoe marks all over them so we came back to the front. We then thought it wont be a good time here however Chris who served us changed it all around with an outstanding service in where i clicked with him straight away and he made my fiancee feel so welcome as well as that the food was absolutely amazing. With that being said i would definitely come back for the type of service chris had given.

Fabulous menu choice & every course we chose was excellent quality. Service is very good, always a busy restaurant but a great location overlooking the Thames. Vegetable side portion dishes are very generous, so you probably only need order 1 potato & 1 veg dish between 2. We have eaten at their Epping (Ongar) restaurant too & the menu’s are very similar, and quality equally good.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the staff and manager at the Canary Wharf branch - I had the most fabulous meal with my autistic daughter and the rest of my family. We were offered a choice of tables, seen to quickly, given paper and crayons and looked after so well. The food was outstanding and we had the best time.

Our waiter Marcel was fantastic. He heard that we didn't like one of the dishes, and offered to take it off the bill! We didn't ask as we wanted to experiment with no strings attached; what a lovely gesture from him. The rest of the food was impeccable as always, and the atmosphere is romantic and cheerful. For reference, our favourite steak on the menu happens to be the cheapest one! - Denver steak - Beef dripping chips - Chop sauce - Chilli hollandaise (for dipping the chips) - White chocolate and wild berry cheesecake - Sweet potato (not so good) Would absolutely recommend coming here, as the price is fair and the service is awesome! 😎

Great experience. The staff are very polite, the coctails are delicious and the food was excellent. We tried the 7 tester menu. It was an excellent selection of fish and meat.
