- EEricPhiladelphia County •25 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWent for the Sunday brunch and it was excellent. The brunch bar included delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey, sausage, and breakfast potatoes, as well as a fresh fruit and salad bar, grilled shrimp, a creamy pasta dish, hand carved Italian pork loin and hand carved sirloin steak. They additionally had an omelette bar and a gourmet dessert table that includes their excellent bread pudding and vanilla cream sauce. Service was outstanding. the dining area is immaculately, clean and fresh. The Desmond is at the top of my favorite brunch places and highly recommended!More infoRestaurants at the Desmond HotelPrice: Moderate• American• Malvern•4.7

They did a really excellent job with the remodel giving it a little more class and getting away from using just the typical bar menu. The place was packed when I first came in at 7PM but quiet and emptying as I was leaving around 8:45PM. This is not unlike most restaurants ever since life opened up post covid. The employees no matter their job were all friendly and accommodating. The piano music was a nice touch and just the right sound level because it could be heard and enjoyed yet not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Could stand having a few more lower price wine choices. Not unlike most restaurants wine is too high priced. I know that because I buy wine for home use. Something is way off when for a bill your 2 glasses of 5 oz wines cost as much as your meal. It is for this reason that my first choice of a restaurants is usually a BYOB. Had a nice time and I will return.More infoThe Jockey TavernPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Malvern•4.5
