Best Lunch Restaurants in New Castle

The manager, Deb, went above and beyond to make my mother's 85th birthday an unforgettable night. James, our server, was attentive, prompt, and knowledgeable about the menu. We sat on the rooftop in an igloo, enjoying the stunning view, delightful ambiance, and unique experience. A wonderful night had by all.

We had a delightful meal with everything being delicious. Eric, our waiter, was helpful and attentive. I literally would have been satisfied eating just about anything and everything on the menu. As it was, we had four of the five appetizers, a Main course bring the cod (fantastic) and a dessert. My wife raved about the coffee. The only negative was that the chairs at the high tops felt increasingly uncomfortable as the night wore on. We’re absolutely going back.

We went here first time years ago to get a drink while waiting for friends. Lively bar and GREAT beer selection. We wanted to stay but our friends had reservations for us at another place - and that place was not great. So on our next visit we wanted to try this place. Derek our server was super nice and knowledgeable. I asked for his recommendations as I had been on a streak of not asking and ordering something I was disappointed in. We started with his recommendation of crudo and it was fantastic. I normal order an app that is way too big and ruin my main meal. Then I got the Hake and my wife got the salmon. We got a side of shoestrings. All were excellent. If I’m being a Chopped judge I think a touch of acid would have made the Hake other worldly. Super lively great service - place was PACKED. Highly recommended

After a big mishap, with Instacart, on Christmas Eve that left my daughter and I without supplies for the Christmas dinner we had planned. On Christmas morning I was scrambling to find a place, that was open, and found Two-Fifty Market on Open Table and immediately booked a reservation for 2pm. It was a little bit of a drive for us but was well worth it. It was an all you can eat buffet and the food was quite good (especially the dessert). We are considering making it a new tradition. It is in a hotel and the lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We spent about 2 and a half hours there and didn’t feel rushed at all. I would definitely recommend their Christmas dinner. It was lovely!

Our first visit was Christmas Eve and a wonderful experience started the moment we walked in the door. Between Alex and our server Chloe who couldn’t have been more lovely and the dinner it was fabulous. We will be back again very soon.
