- RDReyDvipNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoI've been to this location about 3 times this past year. Have always been sat in the small enclosed area just before the bathroom on the left. There are only 2 tables there. I have avoided saying this but will mention it now. The bench against the wall needs to be fixed. The cushion sucks and makes you feel like you are sitting at the kids' table during Thanksgiving. The purple-ish light against the back that's reads "Margaritas" madness your gel drunk when you look at it and is totally annoying, especially when the rest of the restaurant becomes a little darker. We asked to move to the other table in that "corral" due to that light in our faces. In addition, when we did move to the other table, the table top spun every time you leaned on it. We had to keep spinning it back into place to keep our food in front of us. Please, do better. Thanks.More infoSofia's TaqueriaPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Clifton•4.9

- MMelissaNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe came to Don Cheech for the first time as new Staten Islanders who tend to gravitate towards Brooklyn celebrating a very momentous occasion in our life (being cancer free!), and everything from the food to the service did not disappoint. Stephanie is an actual gem - I called prior to our reservation to ask for a dessert request with writing, and she was so gracious and heartfelt over why we were celebrating over dinner. She connected with us the whole time, checked up on how we were doing constantly, all while chef Massimo prepared for us the most amazing meal. The ambiance was fantastic - a quiet Thursday night with a great week day special if you’re looking for that - it was the best all around. We can’t wait to be regulars here!!!More infoDon CheechPrice: Moderate• Italian• Shore Acres•4.7
