- MMarySan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe had quite the memorable dinner at Ella. To begin with, we ordered the fresh baked bread and butter. The bread was so very fresh, and the butter light and delicious. We also ordered the butter leaf salad with an incredible dressing. The lettuce and vegetables were so crisp and fresh, along with the incredible salad dressing...it was delightful. For an appetizer, we ordered the mushrooms with in-house made fresh ricotta cheese... another incredibly delicious symphony of flavors that melted in your mouth. Our main course was the Salmon, absolutely incredibly delicious! It was lightly grilled on the outside cooked medium.. The salmon literally melted in your mouth like a marsh mellow. By far, Ella is the very best fine dining restaurant in the Sacramento area.More infoElla Dining Room and BarPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sacramento•4.7
- LLouisSacramento / Sacramento Valley •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI went here for lunch and it was an excellent meal at a reasonable price. I had the tomato bisque which was fabulous, then was completely enthralled with the ahi tuna salad. I was totally full and happy with my meal and the entire experience. Service was quick and attentive (even though the place was very busy with the holiday events) but not intrusive.More infoCamden Spit and LarderPrice: Expensive• American• Sacramento•4.9
- SShannonVIPSacramento / Sacramento Valley •24 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI love this place. The food is creative but not silly, original but still approachable, and every single dish is just tasty as heck. The menu has something for everyone. Staff is almost tied with food for the best part. They are so warm, attentive, and relaxed. You get great service that isn’t stifling, and they like the place - it’s so clear. It just makes the experience so lovely from start to finish. Anytime I need to have dinner in SAC, this is the place I suggest. Everyone I’ve ever brought here leaves delighted and ready to make it their own go to. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🤷🏼♀️More infoMagpie CafePrice: Moderate• American• Midtown•4.8
- CChrisSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 10, 2024Stopped by for a snack before a show at the Crest. Very nice comfortable room. Our server, Kaitlin was friendly and very professional. Menu is small and well focused. We had three apps and bread service; a well spiced curry soup, their signature salad and a great carpaccio with crisps, parmesan cheese and aioli. Ended with a affogato made with a decadent vanilla bean ice cream. All were well balanced, carefully prepared and well plated. Serviceable wine list; not terribly adventurous but found a nice Bichot Chablis BTG. Solid dining option--not inexpensive, but excellent value. We will be back.More infoPrelude Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• American• Sacramento•4.6
