Best Lunch Restaurants in Scripps Ranch

We went for Xmas dinner. Love everything about this eatery! Meat selection was quality and generous. Service was fast and attentive. Highly recommend making reservations so there’s no wait. We were seated right away. I would come again and again.

We love making reservations for the holidays. Great ambiance, good food, and always excellent service. The staff is very attentive and friendly! Our chicken dish needed to be crispy but we declined on getting another dish. The waiter brought a new one anyway. And we got to keep the other dish, which was just fine at no charge. I always tip big to give the server a smile on their face. They remember me when I come back.

Since we went at 4:30, it was fairly quiet, not crowded. I wish they would expand their menu a bit. The lobster bisque soup was good, but lukewarm. The mahi was great. My companion sent the vegetables back to the kitchen to be cooked more, but they came back the same. The prices are a bit high so I won't return frequently.

This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.
