I enjoyed my dining experience. I was seated at a table near a window and was able to enjoy the views and breeze of the ocean. Amanda, my server was exceptional and attentive. The food was fantastic.

The seamlessness of the experience began even before I arrived, thanks to OpenTable for a smooth reservation process. Upon entering, the hostess greeted me with a genuine welcome, acknowledging and honoring my reservation for Table 27B, one of my favorite spots. Her attentiveness was truly remarkable; she must have meticulously reviewed her notes, because without a word from me, she preemptively apologized for not having my usual Scorpion Tabasco hot sauce available. That kind of thoughtful recognition is incredibly kind and truly sets a positive tone. Later, the manager made a point to stop by and say hello, a touch of personal connection that speaks volumes about their commitment to guest satisfaction. A Minor Hiccup However, even in paradise, a minor ripple can disturb the calm. This visit, for the first time, presented a slight hiccup in an otherwise flawless record. As is my usual practice, I intended to settle my bill in-kind. I clearly communicated to my waiter that I needed a printed receipt for my check, number 54, for this purpose. He acknowledged, but then, quite inexplicably, vanished without the requested receipt. After a patient wait, I sent a message with another staff member, confirming he received it. Still, nothing. When the manager passed by, I appealed to them, and finally, after what felt like an unnecessary delay, my waiter reappeared with a rather bemused, "Would you like a receipt?" It was a moment of mild irritation, a curious lapse in an otherwise attentive service. Despite this minor misstep, The Butcher's Daughter continues to shine brightly.
