Uli's Restaurant is a White Rock institution. Opened in 1986 by Uli Blume, it was one of White Rock's original waterfront restaurants and quickly became a favourite among locals for its great food and friendly atmosphere. Our server was helpful and accommodated a change to the menu for an allergy. He was patient and around just enough. The food was so delicious and flavourful. My favourite was the taro chips and dip. The prawns were also delish. Even though we were seated on the outdoor patio in December, it was warm enough. Just wish there were slightly more substantial chairs. We were seated on very small stools.

Our server Jorge (pronounced Horhay) was outstanding!!! Personable, professional and so efficient the entire time! The food was outstanding! Although it was incredibly busy on Christmas Day evening, the staff was amazing from the hostess to our server!!! The Boathouse in White Rock is somewhere that we would be happy to visit again and again!!! May start a new family tradition of dining out on Christmas Day as it was such an enjoyable experience!

As usual, the service was very good. The fried chicken I ordered was good, although the gravy needed more seasoning. The grilled Caesar salad was delicious, unfortunately the $18 price tag for the portion size was disappointing. Uli's is my favorite restaurant in White Rock, and I will come back again and again.
