- LLana RVIPCincinnati / Dayton •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDelicious salad w baby tomatoes, ricotta, pine nuts, and red leaf lettuce and excellent wild mushroom risotto. Yummy dessert - little fried doughballs, very light and tasty. Attentive and friendly service, with good suggestions when asked. Came for late ish lunch on Sunday and ate in pleasant dining room with stone walls and wooden benches. We usually have dined on the patio, which is also pleasant when it’s not too cold. A favorite place for us.More infoBirroteca - BaltimorePrice: Moderate• Italian• Hampden•4.7

Our server even gave us a complimentary dessert of baklava ice cream with berries. Always enjoy this place.More infoBlack OlivePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Fells Point•4.8
- MMartinBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoI wanted to take my mother someplace very nice for dinner and the Elkridge Furnace Inn went ABOVE and BEYOND!!! We started with sautéed mushrooms, which are grown locally and prepared fresh. The cream of Baltimore soup was the best variation of a cream of crab soup that we ever have ever experienced. Mum got the Fish Du Jour, which was a delicious Rockfish served with an oyster, mushroom, shrimp & white wine, seafood velouté. I got the 6oz Filet Mignon. My steak was perfectly cooked … it was so delicious and tender. The best broccolini I have ever had in my life and I am a “broccolini snob”. We ended with us each getting dessert… mum got the crème brûlée and I got the apple dumpling with a side of salted caramel ice cream. I’ve never seen my mum eat something so fast. Lol. I had to keep telling her to pace herself. I couldn’t finish my dessert… it was just TOO BIG! Lol. I took it home and had it for breakfast the next day. Chef Dan and his wife Donna stopped by our table to check in on our dining experience, which really touched my mum. The entire staff, from the servers to the bartenders were so friendly and welcoming. Our server was Audrey and she was very knowledgeable and attentive. The serving assistant, Dawson, made sure mum’s coffee was always topped off. I’m very much looking forward to our next visit to the Elkridge Furnace Inn!!!More infoThe Elkridge Furnace InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Elkridge•4.8
- EElizabethSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoHad a delicious girls night out! Holiday decor was cheerful, meal delicious, server kind. Cute cocktail names however we chose a bottle of wine instead. This has been on my “to go” list for quite a while and definitely worth it!More infoAmpersea RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Harbor Point•4.5
- AAngelicaPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024The Holiday Tea Service at Magdalena is by far the best I've had outside of London proper. The tea selection consists of 5 lovingly curated teas, which I do prefer to being overwhelmed by a list of 100 teas I've never heard of. The small selection also allows Emma to go into depth about the quirks of each of the teas and I really appreciated getting smell samples of the tea beforehand as well as being walked through the process of preparing each tea we chose. The sandwich/scone/and pastries were all absolutely delicious. The portions at Magdalena were the largest I've seen at any high tea service in the US yet, but it was still a large snack rather than the type of fourth meal you'd get in in the UK. The entire staff was lovely, but being guided through the process by Emma, Madgalena's tea and coffee maven, who is full of enthusiasm for tea, coffee (and honestly all things delicious) elevates the experience form just another afternoon snack to a loving and fun homage to tea.More infoMagdalenaPrice: Expensive• Bistro• Mt.
