Best Organic Food Restaurants in Burtonsville

Even the unfortunate fire alarm on Christmas Day couldn't spoil the mood or the meal. We had such great food and fun, and cannot possibly recommend the resto highly enough. There was nothing like this in Columbia, when I was growing up. Hats off to positive change. I just want to know when Clove and Cardamom is coming to Montgomery County, where I now live - or, DC where I work. I'll be sure to bring my friends...often!

We all enjoyed our meals. My husband ordered the duck breast which was excellent, my son ordered the burger and fries that he thoroughly enjoyed, and I ordered a special which was Frenched Huli Huli Chicken with rice and haricot vert which was amazing. I heartily endorse this restaurant. The wine selections were perfect. Don't turn down dessert. We had creme brulee, bread pudding and pecan tart all of which were perfection. I can also recommend the arancini appetizer which is delicious.

Great food and service. Full top 100% marks. Merry Christmas.

Yesterday evening we celebrated my daughter's 38th birthday at Elizabeth's- and now all of us are ready to go back tonight.The minute you walk in the door of Elizabeth's you feel as if you have been welcomed into a cosy and elegant historical home.  We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth and the staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and culinarily multi-talented. And the dinner experience is similar to being served a new piece of artwork with each course. Would I ever be able to replicate the Klamath Return, a kombu-marinated chioggia beet, caraway crisp and celery root, or the Cleopatra's Ambrosia, with sea buckthorn, pink banana sorbet and kinome leaf,  or the Velvet Immortal with the saffron pickled enoki mushroom? Not in my wildest dreams.  My family normally inhales their food, but this time conversation was at a minimum as we took time to appreciate each new amazing taste sensation. Our party consisted of one vegan,  one vegetarian , and two omnivores,  and all of us agreed Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in DC.

The food was very good although they messed up an order. The service was poor. The server was not attentive. We had to ask for water several times and waited over 1 hour for food.
