Ten is a modern Japanese tapas style restaurant, centrally located on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. Since 2006, Ten has served a variety of both traditional and original cuisine. Chef Pei Jen Chang sources ingredients from the finest local, regional, and international sea and farm purveyors, and strives to offer fare that will appeal to the gamut of culinary palates. Our bar menu boasts an extensive wine list, an assortment of imported and local craft beers, as well as one of the largest collections of sake in Virginia.     Love this place. Early weeknights are intimate meals. Wife and I both had crab cakes. Agreed it may be some of the best crab cakes we have had. Paired really nicely with rice, spinach and sauce. One of best entrees in C’ville…..

    We celebrated my birthday here and it was such a fantastic dinner on all levels! Not only was everything we ordered absolutely delicious, but the chef also kept sending us more and more wonderful additional complimentary bites. Everything was beautifully prepared and plated! The servers worked as a team to provide a smooth and pleasant experience throughout the entire meal. Highly recommended!

    It was simply amazing. We celebrated our son’s graduation and everything could not have been better — delicious mimosas, scrumptious chips and guacamole, and main dishes that were probably the most delicious Mexican cuisine we have eaten anywhere. Our grad got a complementary tequila shot that was icing on the cake. Thank you! 🫶🏼
