A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines. Lunch Offer : 3 Plates for £20, served at lunch Thursday-Saturday. Please note we are a separate restaurant to Chef's Table. We are an authentic Italian wine café, proud to offer quality Sicilian wines and spuntini appetisers across the UK. In the spring of 2013 something extraordinary happened. Two Italian guys in their twenties met in Manchester to find out that they shared a unique passion; they both loved and missed, the Italian Aperitivo, the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work. A daily occasion to share moments of happiness with friends and family. By the end of that very same year, Veeno was born: a place where everyone could enjoy great wines and the most authentic Spuntini – platters of meats, cheeses and other appetisers imported from strictly selected Italian producers. Our wines come from Caruso & Minini, our family vineyard back in Sicily where great-grandfather Antonio planted the first vines in the XIX century. Since then, we have been working hard to ensure that our quality and tradition could flow from the bottles to the glass in your hand.

    Breakfast was table service, which I felt was a big improvement. Staff were lovely. Room was upgraded. Food was good. The Asian salad didn't have any kind of dressing on it, therefore it was very ordinary. They don't serve cocktails. Pork belly was good with a lovely cider gravy ( I requested more which wasn't a problem ) you pay extra for sides. There is a £5 supplement for a few of the breakfast items eg avocado. We had a lovely time. Bed and breakfast was only £60 ppl which is good value especially when you can use the lovely warm pool, even after checkout.

    The food was absolutely delicious ! Amazing value for money and the staff were lovely , service just right they gave us a bit of time between courses without rushing us through. Would highly recommend !

    Clearly a popular venue early on a Saturday evening. More an Italian wine bar which includes food rather than a restaurant. Never the less the pizza and pasta dishes we had were up to expectations and tasty. We had wine at the cheaper end of the wine list (£22/bottle) which was quite acceptable. We will resist the temptation on future visits to try wine at £95 a bottle!
