Great food and great service and good value for money as usual from George & Dragon. This is a really great place to go for a meal.

Tom was our server and he was outstanding. Friendly, patient, helpful, informative, engaging but not over powering. We took up the recommendation of the special of chicken in white wine sauce with apple and chestnuts and shared a portion of country vegetables and chips. It was absolutely delicious and arrived very quickly. The portion sizes were ideal and everything arrived hot and well cooked. We were seated upstairs as it was a more relaxed and cosy area with deep green walls and lots of interesting pictures. We decided to have dessert and I can highly recommend the cheesecake. Tom even delivered a complimentary scoop of ice cream as we were celebrating, so very thoughtful. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Great - we booked at table to watch the football on Sunday afternoon and the staff were friendly and food was tasty.
