Come to discover Hour 43!Restaurantes Carolo, named after a variation of the Italian form of “Carlos”, was the first company of the group, created in November, 2007. It represented an innovation for the creative needs of Carlos Gómez Senderos and his love for bakery. The first restaurant of the group-Carolo Bosques-was created for Carlos to have a place to work. And that’s when the story began. From that moment on, Grupo Carolo has opened several restaurants.

One of the best restaurants in Mexico City. It is unusual to find a restaurant in Polanquito without blasting noise, and Anatol is quiet, but has a really nice ambience, great service and fantastic food. Definitely will be back

Signature Nobu dishes were great as always but the fish quality for sushi still needs a lot of work for a well known place like Nobu, more specifically the tuna. Also, would be nice if they had uni from Japan although I understand it would be more expensive; potentially without a market for it. Overall, a great experience, and service was very attentive. Will be back.

Another excellent meal in Polanco. Recommended by friends, we were looking forward to our reservation on a Friday night. We were expected and sat immediately. Mescalitas flowed freely. They didn’t have an English menu but provided a QR code that linked to one. Very friendly staff, excellent pairing of wine with food, and the second off the planet suckling pig I had eaten that week. The better half ordered the Iberian pork rib and it too was superb, falling off the bone. One slight negative was a street urchin not desisting over the garden hedge but our waiter made short work of him, allowing our night to continue beautifully. Highly recommend this place - ask for Antonio Lastra. Excellent service and a good sense of humour.
