- SSharonWashington, D.C. Area •53 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMele Bistro is a neighborhood gem that exceeds expectations of a first time guest. We have been enjoying Mele Bistro (formerly Village Bistro) for more than 35 years, with a 10 year gap because we weren’t living in Virginia. It is where my husband and I had our first date, but it had been a favorite of my friends and mine for years before that. The food was always good, but under Frank and Gevoni, the food has moved into the gourmand realm. Read their webpage. Their attention to freshness, how the meats are raised, where the seafood is sourced, how the ingredients meld, and how each plate is presented, is a mouth watering and eye pleasing experience. And their wine list should please even wine connoisseurs. My husband had the filet mignon. He reported “it was the most delicious and tender steak I have ever had”. My friend had the Four cheese raviolis, I got the Spinach and then shared so we could enjoy both. (They were out of the Butternut squash ravioli—both our favorite, but it turned out a good thing.). The Spinach and Four cheese were amazing. Now I have three favorites! Check Mele out. You will not be disappointed.More infoMele BistroPrice: Expensive• Italian• Arlington•4.7

The menu is varied with many outstanding selections, and you can choose your bottle of wine from the extensive offerings on the shelves. The prices are reasonable. The servers remember our food and drink preferences and always greet us with a smile. It's conversation-friendly and definitely our "go-to" restaurant for a nice night out.More infoGrand Cru Wine Bar & BistroPrice: Moderate• French American• Arlington•4.7

- CCamelliaBaltimore / Maryland •23 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoOn a delightful outing, I ventured in for a quick meal with a family member who had just flown in from out of state. Eager to sample a bit of everything, we opted for the all-you-can-eat option, and it certainly lived up to its promise. Our experience was a feast for the senses, from the enticing display of dishes on the table to the engaging cooking experience right before our eyes. The restaurant buzzed with a constant flow of delicious food, making it feel like a celebration at every turn. Our attentive waitress ensured we were well taken care of, adding to the warmth of our dining experience. Overall, this was a charming and memorable outing we highly recommend to anyone looking to indulge in a culinary adventure.
