Best Organic Food Restaurants in Weaverville

Had a lovely experience at Posana. Our waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating and especially nice to us on a big event evening. The food. So good. We shared an assortment of small plates including the pear burratta (get the burrata), roasted veggies, grain salad, and cheese biscuits. AND the tahini tiramasu to end on. So delicious. Mela always hits just right! We had varying degrees of spice-tolerance in our group, so our server was able to guide our guests through ordering. We had the chicken korma with tender pieces of chicken and a delicious, rich cashew/peanut sauce; a lamb special with a similar sauce as the korma, but a tad more spice, an eggplant dish, and the chicken vindaloo, which our guests asked to be extra spicy. We all loved our dishes! We loved the vegetable somosas too. Our server was professional and attentive. This restaurant has been in Asheville as long as I have, and it never disappoints!

This restaurant never disappoints. I hesitate to write a glowing review for fear we’ll never get a table again. It’s always been packed lately. But that would not be fair to the owners and the staff, especially the chef who consistently turns out dishes like the ones we ate this evening, delectable scallops and a thick pork chop, both juicy and tender. I’d like to try the other salads, but might never because the blue cheese salad is just that good.

Every single dish was fantastic and Proper's ambience is amazing as well.
