Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Bedford

Marvellous as always. The amuse bouche(s) are enough alone to keep us coming back!

Excellent food and service. Our party of seven included two coeliac guests and we were all catered for exceptionally well. A good Sunday lunch menu, (with coeliac options). Tasty well prepared food, with good portions, and although the restaurant was full, service was exceptional. Plenty of staff on hand. Prices probably ‘top end’ for this type of establishment, but you ‘get what you pay for’. Overall a great birthday lunch.

Yet another superlative experience- interesting starter of mackerel with some unusual accompaniments [successful blend of root veg, rhubarb, walnuts and fennel]; main course of perfectly cooked tender pork loin and a delightful lemon posset with blueberry compote to finish. Well worth the bib gourmand and a campaign for the establishment to gain a Michelin star needs to be initiated. Excellent value set lunch, sweetened by a complimentary glass of very quaffable house wine. [This January only] Thank you, Henry and Team.

Gorgeous village pub with a Cosy fire. Fabulous, appealing and vast menu .all of our meals were delicious ! Service was warm and welcoming and you could feel genuine passion and enthusiasm from each member of staff . They made a real effort to note the booking was for a birthday and paid extra attention by also placing a birthday card on the table for the birthday girl and brought out a cake we had supplied . We will definitely return. These types of pubs/restaurants deserve loyalty and success.
