Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Cape Coral

Excellent food, service and drinks! We never eat at the same restaurant twice while on vacation but went to Gather 3 times on this trip…enough said!

Our server Josalyn , only 18 and a criminal justice major in junior college, is soo personable and friendly but so efficient and timely with our drinks and courses that it just made our 38th anniversary dinner a wonderful experience to remember! And I cannot thank our hostess enough who arranged a special table indoors for us on literally 2 hours’ notice, when I realized we had driven almost 400 miles the day before,planning to celebrate at Connors and I had thought I had made the reservation but had not! Everyone else treated us royally as well. This is one place where “same old, same old….” Is a GOOD thing, like each time in the past. We now plan to dine at Connors at least once every time we come near Sanibel or Ft Myers. Last year in December, even drove down from Clearwater for the day

We sat outside - location was not ideal as it was next to kitchen entrance. It kind of felt like we were stuck in a corner for bad behavior. Next time will request a better location. Server (I don’t think he gave us his name ) was excellent. Food was great - would love the recipe for chicken tortilla soup. Happy New Year!

Our Christmas dinner was exceptional at Terra Nostra with Ethan taking good care of us as we dined. The Ravioli Cardinale and Rigatoni Carne were superb as was the caesar salad. The bolognese sauce on the rigatoni was fantastic and for dessert the pistachio gelato was amazing. Not to be forgotten is the Italian bread served with homemade olive butter and oil. Overall a top notch meal !

Seating out door on a Thursday night and it wasn't crowded. But the night was perfect, with great music, (loved every song the solo musician played and sang), enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much. Had a perfect night.
