Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Durham

Went to Tuscan Kitchen for anniversary. There was a card at our table signed by all the staff and my wife and I were given complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate. We had an appetizer platter with wine infused cheese, roasted peppers and onions that also included figs, pears and honey which was delicious. Would have liked more crustini to put ingredients on. My wife had the Mista salad which she enjoyed. I had the Osso Bucco which was tender and filling with tasty saffron risotto. Our server, Alex, was attentive and friendly. All around, an excellent experience!

Our server Natasha was excellent, all of our food came out super fast, drinks not so much but it was busy, the only negative part was I reserved a high top inside and we were seated outside right by a continuously opening door, like an automatic door, it went off every minute, even so that did not deter from our great service

Food and drinks were very good, but our server did not seem to like having us. Everyone else who came to our table was very friendly and warm but our server appeared to be annoyed the entire time to have our table.

Went for the New Year’s Day Hip Hop DJ Brunch and it did not disappoint! Tried the housemade donuts (cranberry orange & espresso martini), and they lived up to the hype 100%! Seriously, if we weren’t so full, I would have taken a couple of the orange-cranberry ones to go! Then we had chicken & waffles and the pastrami hash. The chicken was incredibly crispy and the hash was delicious- lots of peppers & onions to complement the pastrami. Music was loud (we were right in front of the DJ) with some great selections! Service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back!

Our party of six each enjoyed various drinks and items from the menu. Everything was fresh and delicious. Our server, Romaine, made us feel welcome and took great care of us during our dining experience. Hope to go back again soon.
