Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Compton Bassett

Visited Bath for Valentine's Day and The Square Brassiere and Piano Bar was our post Valentine's evening venue. We were booked in for 7:30pm and expected to be there for a couple of hours or so. From the moment we entered the premises we felt we were special. The staff were polite and attentive, the venue was welcoming and nicely laid out and the pianist was fun and accommodating regarding requests. We had the set Valentine's menu, none of which disappointed, delivering a variety of choices within it's framework. We had a great evening, eventually leaving at closing time. Nice location. Really good food and good service. Scored one down on ambiance as it was valentines evening and there was nothing to promote that (candles on tables, hearts etc) just like a normal evening.

A while since we’ve been to The Marlborough Tavern. No particular reason hasten to add. Lovely Valentines Day menu. Enjoyed what we ordered although both meals could have been served hotter(as in heat not spice). Not too noisy although personally not a lover of dogs in restaurants. Will be back.

A very pleasant casual lunch on Valentine’s Day. Service was prompt and nicely done by friendly staff. The ambience was attractive although our table was a little close to two others. The menu was fairly limited but the food quality was fine.

My family and I visit here twice a year for celebrations , I would not go anywhere else. Food is always fantastic along with service and value. Perfection…
