Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Hamden

This is the second year I’ve came to Prime to celebrate Thanksgiving (with standard menu) . Outstanding food + service , ambience is always so warm and welcoming love the decor and vibe of the restaurant . Professional staff and the food is worth making the 45 minute drive from south shore to dine ! Will be coming back next year ! Warm welcoming staff, great atmosphere and delicious food and cocktails.

The dishes were excellent! We ordered the sea bass, lamp chops, and butternut squash pasta. The grilled veggie appetizer and burrata salad was exquisite as well. We loved the service; our server was so attentive to our needs and did an excellent job. We also enjoyed the cocktails and mocktails as well. Thank you for a wonderful family dinner experience!

We all ordered veal dishes which were fantastic. Service was great. Arturo is amazing.

The food at this restaurant is beyond excellent. Wide array of appetizers. Staff were so friendly. Great, hip atmosphere. Seared hanger steak, shrimp and grits, Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls, Steak Tips…all top notch. We’ve been in Hamden 2 days and ate there twice because it’s so good.
