Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Herndon

Long time lover of this restaurant. We now live in San Diego, and every time we visit our families in Virginia we dine here. Daniel was outstanding and fun to talk with. I always get the crispy flounder which is exotic and super flavorful. It is a whole fish which you will have to navigate, but so worth it. Get the sauced on the side so you can control the heat. The oysters were delicious last night too. Save room for the key lime pie. Only minor suggestion is to serve the after drinks before the dessert. We will see you again on our next trip East.

Our server was great and we love the brunch buffet here on the weekend! It’s very good with lots of options. The price is a little high but fair if you plan to indulge.

We've been to Cooper's Hawk a few times, especially the one in Ashburn because it's closer to home. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything available when we wanted to go, but that's not the point. Every time we've been to either location, the experience has been outstanding! Everything is delicious, from the appetizers to the main course, dessert, and drinks. I love the passion fruit sangria! We took our family who came to visit from Arizona, and I was surprised when they told us they have a Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant there too! They really enjoyed their food and drinks. This place never disappoints, and for a Wednesday, it was packed! We have been long time Dinners at this restaurant. The food is excellent, but the new Kitchen Staff seem to miss out on details, which takes the service staff out of their normal duties trying to gather what was missed. Wife and I both ordered Seneca Salads with Salmon. Waitress asked if we wanted it Blackened and we both said yes. Salads came out with Salmon just Grilled normally. Salads were listed to come with Blue Cheese, no Cheese was on the Salad, when delivered. The salad was also listed to come with Potatoes strings, but was also not on the salad. The server brought out spiced Potatoes instead which my wife liked, but again not really what the menu advertised. The Food is good, yet the Kitchen execution of details is very much lacking when placing orders. This is not our first experience with these type of problems here. The new ownership seems to be still getting its sea legs as it fine tunes.

Outstanding South Indian food. The South Indian thali, plantain Bhajji and rose milk were out of the world.
