Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Fowlmere

I was last at the Green Man 42 years ago as a student. It has retained all its charm and beauty, with exceptional cuisine and warm and gracious service.

Always top drawer, the perfect place to eat, drink and have a great time. Christmas Eve was buzzing, thanks to all the staff at The Sword Inn Hand for making Christmas Eve such a great start to our festivities 🎅x

We were greeted by a cheerful Father Christmas and shown to our table, the waiting staff were very attentive without being “too much!” The food was excellent- great choices on the menu and something for everyone of our party of 8. This is our group’s 3rd year of meeting here before Christmas - it must be our new tradition? Many thanks for all the staff’s hard work!

The food and cocktails were delicious, but what made this evening so special were the staff (our waitress was particularly fabulous, so wish I'd got her name) and the overall atmosphere. Gorgeous seating, lovely furniture, a variety of areas to eat, drink and socialise. The history of the building and pictures on the wall were a great talking point. The ability to play the piano, just made it! We will be back. Thanks so much :-)

Had the Festive Menu of Roast Turkey followed by Gingerbread Cake. Very impressed, all well cooked & tasty. Fresh ingredients. Excellent service in a lovely setting. Reasonable priced.
